Extinction Rebellion subgroup – non-violent direct action training

Following the success of the two Die-ins last month in Muswell Hill, we are setting up a Extinction Rebellion subgroup of MHSG. We’re having an initial training session with Extinction Rebellion’s Jayne Forbes on  Wednesday 12th June. According to Jayne:“The training will provide support for people who have not been engaged with civil disobedience.  It reaffirms the need for it and will enable rebels to come to decisions about what level of involvement in Extinction Rebellion actions they would like to have. There will be learning about being arrested as well”. We’ll end by discussing what we’d want to do next as a subgroup.
All welcome – please email info@mhsgroup.org to book your place.
